Calcium carbonate, known as Stone Dust in the coal mining industry is a white to off-white finely ground limestone that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a controlled screening and sizing process.
This method is very accurate allowing final product sizing to managed to ensure sizing compliance with appropriate state and territory regulations. Stone Dust is widely used as an explosion retardant in underground coal mines and is available in a variety of packaging options.
