Calcium Carbonate
Limestone is a carbonate sedimentary rock that is often composed of the skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral, foraminifera, and molluscs. Its major materials are the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Calcium carbonate has been used extensively throughout history in construction and agricultural applications and it is still one of the worlds most widely used materials. At South Queensland Lime all of our source material is 98.7% pure Calcium Carbonate and comes directly from the local Texas beds found in the region.
Superfine Lime
Superfine Lime is a -75um sized calcium carbonate product that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a roller milling and cyclonic separation process producing a white to off-white product that is very consistent in size and quality. Superfine Lime is used in a variety of animal feeds and supplements as well as fillers and other industrial manufacturing applications.
Due to its flowability and fine nature Superfine Lime is stored in silos and is available in a variety of packaging and delivery options.

Fine Lime
Fine Lime is a -250um sized calcium carbonate product that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a crushing, milling and screening process producing a white to off-white product that is very consistent in size and quality. Fine Lime is used in a variety of animal feeds and supplements as well as other industrial manufacturing applications. Our Fine Lime is stored in silos on site and available in a variety of packaging options.

Stone Dust
Calcium carbonate, known as Stone Dust in the coal mining industry, is a white to off-white finely ground limestone that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a controlled screening and sizing process. This method is very accurate allowing final product sizing to ensure sizing compliance with appropriate state and territory regulations. Stone Dust is widely used as an explosion retardant in underground coal mines and is available in a variety of packaging options.

Agricultural Lime
Agricultural (Ag) Lime is a -1000um sized calcium carbonate product that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a crushing, milling and screening process producing a white to off-white product that is very consistent in size and quality. Agricultural Lime is used as an additive to adjust the pH of soils as well as an ingredient in animal feeds and supplements and other industrial manufacturing applications. Our Agricultural Lime is available from a silo as a clean dry product or from a bulk stockpile and is available in a variety of packaging options.

Fine Grit is a 1mm to 250um sized calcium carbonate product that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a standard crushing, milling and sizing process. The finished product is off-white to grey in colour and is used in a variety of processes and feeds from agricultural and poultry through to industrial manufacturing applications.

Coarse Grit
Course or Poultry Grit is a 3.5mm to 1.0mm sized calcium carbonate product that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a standard crushing, milling and sizing process. The finished product is off-white to grey in colour and is used in a variety of processes and feeds from agricultural and poultry through to industrial manufacturing applications. Coarse (Poultry) Grit is available in a variety of packaging options.

Gypsum
Natural gypsum is a soft mineral composed of calcium sulphate dihydrate (CaSO4·2H2O). Commonly found in sedimentary rock formations and formed by the evaporation of ancient seawater, SQL’s Natural Gypsum is mined and processed in Queensland.

Multi Lime
Multi Lime is a 0-1.5mm sized calcium carbonate product that is manufactured at our Gore site in Queensland using a crushing and screening process producing a white to off-white product that is very consistent in size and quality. Multi Lime is used as an additive to adjust the pH of soils as well as other industrial manufacturing applications. It is widely utilized in acid sulphate soil remediation and broad acre agricultural spreading applications, to improve soil pH and promote increased nutrient use efficiency from fertiliser input. Our Multi Lime is available from a bulk stockpile and is available in bulk bag packaging options.
